APRECA organized an event at Plaza del Carmen in Madrid during the days 23-29 of June 2016, aimed to children aged 5 to 14 consisting in a recreative area with activities related with water and the beach, such as surf based rides, sailing balloons, aquatic slides, water games, beach workshops activities etc.

From this year on every person interested in selling christmas loterry at Puerta del Sol will have to be provided with a collaboration contract with a lottery administration for their regulatio and control, as was announced on June by the municipal councillor of the Center district of Madrid, Jorge Garcia Castaño.

Manuela Carmena`s government team (Ahora Madrid) rejects the idea of a complete reform of Puerta del Sol and plans a “small scale” action to re-order some of its elements (statues and kiosks), free spaces and install benches so that it turns into a place to be, not just to go through.
